I read it, could hardly put it down… I thought it was a little gruesome….a lot of tragic stuff happened, the end really tied it all in- that is my honest opinion; I am going to read it again and more slowly; a book must be good if I read it twice! Thank you for putting yourself into it. ❤️😊

From beginning to end this book captures your attention. I have worked on the streets with the homeless, and this book brought back many memories. I have experienced a family member who was in this position and is now 6 months clean tomorrow, and has accepted Christ. The end of this book is amazing, I can't give it away however :). Deep feelings for anyone who struggles with or cares for someone struggling with addiction. This book has so many stories intertwined that will ring true with anyone who's lived through the hell of addiction – their own or otherwise.

This book carries a strong and beautiful Christian message, but I think it's worth noting that it will not feel like something you're being hit over the head with. It really is about freedom and peace in that regard, and even if that aspect is not the walk you've been walking - the story itself has loads of compassion and understanding and striving for release from the ills of the world. It's an easy read, and an emotional read.
